If you have an animal that you think would make a good therapy animal, and you live in Utah, Montana, Idaho, or Nevada; follow the steps, listed below, to get started.

1- Read all of the information listed under Overview, Workshops, Registration Preparation, and Workshop Schedule.

2- Call the Intermountain Therapy Animals office to schedule a pre-interview. In the pre-interview, you and your animal will meet with an ITA evaluator to answer any questions that you have. The interview is to make sure therapy work is something that is right for you and your animal before you spend the money to become registered. The interviews are half an hour and are held at the ITA office on select days between 4-6:30pm. They are by appointment only, so call to find out the next available time (801-272-3439).

3- Register for the workshop. The workshops always fill up fast, so if you would like to make sure a spot is held for you; send in the registration form and money (see "Workshop Schedule") to hold your spot. If you decide after the pre-interview that you would no longer like to take the workshop, your money will be returned to you.
