Notes:
The R.E.A.D. program,
affiliated with Pets For Life, Inc.,
|
|
currently visits schools, libraries, ELL programs, aftercare
|
|
programs, medical clinic settings, assisted-living intergenerational
|
|
R.E.A.D. programs, church programs, and special events. We
|
|
have also partnered with Reach Out and Read-Kansas City, which
|
|
is affiliated with two national literacy programs where we work with
|
|
mostly
bi-lingual children. A major grant covers the cost of
|
|
materials for the R.E.A.D. program at Pets For Life, Inc.
|
|
|
|
Official R.E.A.D. Workshops are scheduled and taught by Fran
|
|
Lancaster, Licensed R.E.A.D. instructor, at her home. For
